🔍 Key Responsibilities
* Analyse and interpret meteorological data and forecasts from internal and external sources
* Deliver short-term to seasonal weather views, tracking models, ensembles, and regime shifts
* Translate forecast changes into trading-relevant market impacts
* Work closely with traders, analysts, and risk teams on intraday and forward decisions
* Integrate weather assumptions into gas & power analytics and scenarios
* Develop and enhance weather models and tools using Excel and Python
✅ Requirements
* Degree in Meteorology / Atmospheric Science (or related)
* Strong understanding of weather impacts on commodity markets
* Solid analytical skills; Python and re-analysis data (ERA Interim) experience is a plus
* Proactive, independent, and comfortable in a dynamic trading setup.
