Job Description – Apprentice Content Creator The Opportunity Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice Content Creator to join their team in Lee-on-the-Solent PO13. The Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship programme that we are offering, will allow you to kick-start your career in an industry that is constantly evolving, dynamic and transformational. The Position Job Title: Apprentice Content Creator Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Content Creator Apprenticeship Duration: 13 months EPA Location: Lee-on-the-Solent PO13 Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5:45pm Salary: £16,000 Key Responsibilities As our Apprentice, you will be deeply involved in the day-to-day execution of our social media and content strategy. Your responsibilities will include: Social Media Management: Assisting in the planning, scheduling, and posting of content across all key social media channels (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube). Monitoring social media activity, engaging with our audience, and responding to comments and messages in line with brand guidelines. Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. Videography & Editing: Planning and shooting: Assisting in the conceptualization and filming of short-form video content (e.g., Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and longer-form videos (e.g., interviews, tutorials). Post-production: Independently editing video footage, including adding graphics, subtitles, music, and sound effects to create polished and engaging content. Ensuring all video content aligns with brand messaging and platform-specific requirements. Content Creation: Contributing creative ideas for photo, graphic, and written content to complement video strategy. Assisting with basic graphic design tasks (e.g., creating social media stories or thumbnails). Reporting & Analysis: Assisting in tracking and compiling weekly/monthly reports on social media and video performance metrics (reach, engagement, views). What We're Looking For Essential Skills & Experience: A strong, demonstrable interest in videography and video editing, with a portfolio (even personal projects) showcasing your abilities (e.g., TikTok profile, YouTube channel, personal Reels). A solid understanding of major social media platforms and the type of content that performs well on each. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Desirable Qualities: Basic knowledge of camera operation and lighting techniques. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator). A genuine enthusiasm for learning and embracing new challenges. Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or strong mobile editing apps like CapCut).
