About the SettingThis specialist education centre supports pupils aged 11-16 who face challenges in mainstream education. Many of the learners have SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), SEND, or behavioural difficulties.

Teaching Assistant RoleResponsibilities:
* Support pupils in lessons and through targeted interventions
* Build positive relationships and promote emotional wellbeing
* Assist with behaviour management and classroom routines
* Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience working with young people, ideally in SEN or SEMH settings
* TA qualification or willingness to train
* Calm, empathetic, and adaptable
Teaching RoleResponsibilities:
* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
* Support academic progress and personal development
* Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
* Work closely with colleagues to meet holistic pupil needs
Ideal Candidate:
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience in alternative provision, SEN, or SEMH settings
* Passionate about inclusive education and pupil wellbeing
