Process Automation and Controls Engineer
Salary; £55000 - £65000
Vickerstock are currently assisting a global leading Manufacturing client based in the Lisburn area with the recruitment of an experienced Process Automation & Controls Engineer. As a successful Process Automation & Controls Engineer you will take ownership of process control systems on site to ensure effective control and operation of process and utility equipment.
Your new role as a Process Automation and Controls Engineer
1. Fault diagnosis on process control systems including hardware, software and networks
2. Fault diagnosis & trouble shooting on Site Automation Networks & systems as required
3. Own and develop effective use of SCADA and MES data to support manufacturing and utility operations
4. Develop and maintain best practice for the upkeep and maintenance of the software system including system back-ups and security
5. Development and preparation of Functional Design Specifications to include validation and evaluation documentation for the maintenance of control systems and networks;
6. Commissioning of new and modifications of current equipment;
What you will need to succeed as a Process Automation and Controls Engineer;
7. Must have experience and a wide range of knowledge in electronic and software programmes Experience with diagnostics and troubleshooting.
8. Degree in Mechatronic/Electronic/Electrical Engineering or similar related degree
9. 2 years experience in a Fast paced environment
10. Can read electrical drawings
