Role Overview
The Senior Financial Education Consultant is based in Customer Propositions and Marketing within Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB). The key objective is to contribute to HSBC’s societal purpose of reaching 1 million young people through financial education programs and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the strategy to engage senior schools and councils in the Smart Money Certificate program, managing a team to support engagement and driving direct-to-school strategies to enroll over 200 schools.
2. Manage and project oversee the delivery of the Smart Money Certificate, ensuring schools are supported and data on young people's participation is recorded weekly.
3. Maintain the tracker for signed schools, monitor session delivery, and manage HSBC-led sessions within the program.
4. Support the development and implementation of the digital strategy to engage schools in digital and on-demand learning sessions, collaborating with operational teams for governance and resource allocation.
5. Assist in delivering HSBC's digital education sessions and broader BAU digital initiatives for schools and youth groups.
6. Oversee feedback collection to assess the program’s reception and ensure assessments are completed by students.
7. Keep on-demand content current on the website and support content uploads.
8. Manage digital engagement reporting, including video views, downloads, and website traffic analysis.
Candidate Requirements
* Excellent communication skills—written, digital, and spoken—capable of conveying complex information effectively to diverse audiences.
* Proven experience in project management and leadership.
* Experience in developing digital communications for professional or educational audiences.
* Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to develop materials and support projects.
* Strong relationship-building skills via email, phone, and in-person interactions, with effective account management to maintain commitments with schools and councils.
* Knowledge or experience working with young people and understanding of the education system.
