We're seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy team providing HR & Employer Relations advice and support to external organisations.
Responsibilities
* Providing an efficient, well-organised, and responsive HR service with guidance and support for employer relations cases.
* Acting as a positive ambassador for the HR team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services.
* Spending approximately 2 days on the HR Helpdesk handling calls and emails, often being the first contact for managers on employer relations casework.
* Handling your own caseload of ER cases, including sickness, absence, ill health, retirement, redeployment, and others (circa 18-20 cases at a time).
* Collaborating with Senior HR Advisors.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience with employer relations casework, such as absence management and sickness, preferably in high-volume environments.
* Ideally CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of employment law.
* Excellent team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to provide operational advice on employee terms, conditions, and HR policies.
Offer Details
* 6-month fixed-term contract.
* Minimum 1 day per week (preferably 2 days) in Winchester near the train station.
* Working hours: 9-5, with 9-4.30 on Fridays.
* 37 hours per week.
* 25 days holiday.
