About the role:

We are seeking a Key Account Co-ordinator to oversee Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) for our valued customers. Responsibilities include managing customer accounts, reviewing forecasts, coordinating with the supply chain, and maintaining communication to ensure optimal inventory levels and seamless operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. Knowledge of fasteners, PPE, and other MRO products is highly desirable.


Working hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.


Key responsibilities:

* Manage customer accounts and ensure timely execution of VMI processes.
* Review demand forecasts and inventory levels to optimize stock and meet customer needs.
* Coordinate with the supply chain team for efficient replenishment and distribution.
* Maintain communication with customers regarding inquiries, issues, and inventory updates.
* Collaborate with sales, logistics, and production departments to fulfill orders and resolve discrepancies.
* Analyze inventory metrics and identify process improvement opportunities.
* Provide exceptional customer service and foster strong relationships.


Skills & Attributes:

* Full UK driving license.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Knowledge of fasteners, PPE, and MRO products is highly desirable.
* Previous sales experience is beneficial.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Willingness to learn about new technologies and products.
