Regional Sales Manager (Scotland)
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for selling our Software, Hardware and Services, and reports to the head of Regional Sales. It will be the Regional Sales Manager's role to ensure that all agreed sales targets are met, or exceeded, in their allocated region. For this vacancy the region is Scotland.
The Regional Sales Manager will generate business through direct selling to upselling to current customers. Prospecting, conducting sales campaigns and networking with contacts in the industry will all assist in delivering the annual net rev sales target.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Account management of and upselling to a group of Key Accounts in a target region
2. Support in the acquisition of new logo business from the competition
3. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio and awareness of competitor products
4. Maintaining an awareness of industry trends
5. Learn, adopt and adhere to the company sales guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes maintaining and developing the Company’s CRM database in accordance with company standards and developing accurate, high quality and professional sales documentation and correspondence templates
6. Assist with devising and implementing lead generation activities, as required. Qualify, develop and manage a lead through to sales conversion, whether sourced or provided by Companies. Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods as per the SOP
7. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets
8. Ensure all monthly sales targets (KPIs) set by management and agreed on in advance are met or exceeded. This will necessitate some or all of the following activities:
Developing and managing opportunities with current customers
Identifying the needs and wants of a potential customer
Presenting the Company solution without misrepresentation
Demonstrating software solutions and associated products in person or over the internet
Handling objections from potential sales opportunities
Preparing and presenting quotations/proposals to sales opportunities
Negotiating and closing sales
Fulfilling reporting requirements to the Sales Manager according to the deadlines set for the Department
Maximise profit on all potential sales opportunities
Provide excellent customer services to clients over the phone or in person
9. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
10. Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and networks within industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads
11. Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time.
12. Participate in regular team meetings
13. Perform any other duties related to the promotion, sales and delivery of the products, or related third party products, as directed by the management team from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
14. Proven experience selling software solutions within the leisure industry (desired)
15. Hold a degree or relevant qualification is desirable
16. Proven record in selling business application software
17. Relevant professional sales training and experience
18. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales
19. Excellent written, verbal and presentation communications skills
20. The ability to build and foster business relationships
21. Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business
22. A moderate degree of computer literacy and technical competency
23. Demonstrable evidence of organizing customer accounts and projection implementation.
