* Acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact for senior client stakeholders, building trusted relationships at Director and C-suite level and ensuring programme objectives remain clearly aligned to business outcomes
* Establishing and maintaining robust programme governance frameworks, including steering committee reporting, RAID logs, change control processes and milestone tracking, in line with Deloitte and client delivery standards
* Managing cross-functional delivery teams spanning functional consultants, technical architects, integration leads, change management and testing workstreams, providing clear direction and removing blockers to maintain momentum
* Coordinating across SAP RISE with SAP and third-party system integrator relationships, managing dependencies and ensuring effective collaboration between all parties throughout the implementation lifecycle
* Driving adoption of SAP Best Practices and fit-to-standard approaches within the Public Cloud model, supporting clients in business process redesign and managing the cultural shift away from bespoke customisation
* Proactively identifying and escalating risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring timely resolution to protect delivery timelines and client confidence
* Contributing to business development activities, including the development of proposals, bid management, client presentations and the scoping of new SAP Public Cloud opportunities
* Supporting practice development activities, including internal capability building, contributing to Deloitte's SAP Public Cloud methodology, and acting as a mentor for junior and mid-level project management colleagues
* Participating in talent and people management activities such as recruitment, performance reviews and the development of our high-performing SAP project management community
Strong project and programme management experience within SAP transformation engagements, gained in a consulting or complex client-side environment
* At least one full end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation delivered, with direct accountability for project management from project initiation through to go-live and hypercare - candidates who have not held this accountability as project manager will not be considered
* Demonstrable experience of managing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud deployments utilising RISE with SAP and SAP Activate methodology, with a strong understanding of the fit-to-standard delivery model and its implications for project scope and client management
* Proven track record of managing large, multi-workstream delivery teams and third-party partners within complex programme environments
* Experience of managing programme budgets in excess of £1 million, with an ability to produce and maintain financial forecasts, manage margin, and report accurately to senior stakeholders
* Strong executive stakeholder management skills, with experience of presenting to and influencing at C-suite and Board level
* Experience of working within a Big Four, tier-one systems integrator, or equivalent professional services environment
Preferred qualifications and skills
* Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent certification
* SAP Activate certification or evidence of formal training in SAP delivery methodology
* Familiarity with agile and hybrid delivery frameworks and their application within enterprise SAP programmes
* Experience across multiple SAP functional areas (e.g., Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR) providing the breadth of context needed to manage cross-functional dependencies effectively
* Exposure to data migration, integration, and testing workstream management within SAP implementations
