This is a rewarding opportunity to join a national charity delivering a back-to-work programme for people with mental health support needs. The approach is person-centred and holistic, focusing on helping individuals return to work in a way that feels sustainable and right for them.
The role is hybrid. On average, you'll spend one day a week in the St Neots office, two days out and about delivering outreach support in Cambridgeshire (for example, in local libraries or community centres), and two days working from home. The remote working days arent fixed there needs to be a degree of flexibility depending on client needs and service priorities, which may occasionally require more time in the office.
You'll work one-to-one with people who are either looking to return to work or explore new employment opportunities. This could involve helping someone understand their career options, build a CV from scratch, prepare for interviews, or write cover letters. The key is taking the time to understand their circumstances and adapting your support to account for their mental health needs building confidence and creating practical next steps that feel achievable.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract. However, as the end of the contract approaches, there may be opportunities to move into another role within the charity, depending on funding and service needs.
