Category Manager – Convenience & Impulse
📍 Hybrid (3 days office / 2 WFH + customer visits)
A leading FMCG brand within the snacking space is looking for a Category Manager to join their high-performing commercial team. This is a brilliant opportunity to work across convenience, foodservice, and impulse channels, partnering with major customers including Spar, Unitas, and Compass, while influencing category strategy across a well-known portfolio. You’ll play a key role in shaping category growth, with immediate involvement in a high-profile internal project focused on expanding the nuts category.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead category strategy across convenience & impulse channels
* Partner closely with key customers (including symbol groups & foodservice operators)
* Deliver actionable, insight-led recommendations to drive growth
* Work cross-functionally with commercial and trading teams
* Support and influence category direction across multiple product areas
About you:
* Experience in Category, Insights, or Commercial roles within FMCG
* Strong storytelling skills with data (Nielsen, IRI, dunnhumby, etc.)
* Confident working with customers and presenting recommendations
* Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
* Open to Category Executives stepping up
