Quantity Surveying Apprentice

We are seeking candidates to join as an Apprentice in Quantity Surveying, initially based at Exxon Mobil Fawley Refinery. The role involves supporting our Commercial and Administration department, with training towards a Quantity Surveying degree apprenticeship starting in September 2022 (sponsorship provided). The candidate should be hardworking, reliable, motivated, and eager for long-term development in Quantity Surveying. Travel to other offices and sites may be required in the future.
Initial Duties
* Contract administration of booking codes and data input into designated software
* Raising invoices in the SAP system
Development Activities
* Cost management and analysis
* Preparing valuations and applications using contract schedules
* Measuring and estimating from drawings
* Forecasting and compiling cost and value reports
* Identifying cost savings and margin improvements
* Working effectively with others and confidently
* Presenting, communicating, and researching information

Essential Qualifications
Applicants must have an acceptable Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (e.g., GCSE grade C/4 or above, or Functional Skills Pass). Experience in industrial services, construction, or telecommunications is preferred.
