Driver's Mates – Lanark Urgent requirement / guaranteed 48 hours per week / temp - perm opportunity People Solutions are currently recruiting a Driver's Mate on behalf of our client based in Lanark. This is an immediate start opportunity offering guaranteed full-time hours and the chance to secure a permanent position for reliable candidates. The site is in Lanark and you must be able to drive and have your own transport due to early start times. Shifts: Monday to Friday Start times can be as early as 4:00am Guaranteed 48 hours per week Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Benefits: Your benefits as a Driver's Mate will be: Guaranteed weekly income and at least 48 hours per week Opportunity to go permanent Weekly pay Full training and paid induction provided No weekend working Long-term, stable work with a well-established client Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as a Driver's Mate will be: Assisting drivers with deliveries to customer's homes Loading and unloading products safely (heavy lifting involved) Supporting with route completion and paperwork Delivering excellent customer service Following all health & safety procedures Essential Skills: The skills required to be a Driver's Mate will be: Must drive and have access to your own transport due to location of the site and start times Able to travel to Lanark for early morning starts Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Training: Site assessment prior to start Manual handling training provided Drug and alcohol test required before starting Contact: Immediate starts available and interviews taking place this week People Solutions do not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process
