Overview
We are hiring an experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to support projects for our Asset Management business platform. You will lead all project aspects, from scoping and detailed design to implementation, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards, with a strong focus on low‑carbon solutions.
Responsibilities
* Meet with clients to discuss specific intervention requirements.
* Conduct intrusive Electrical and ICA site surveys to identify innovative solutions to complex problems.
* Plan and implement projects with Delivery Management teams.
* Lead the development of Electrical and ICA design deliverables with your team.
* Provide proactive 1‑2‑1 coaching of junior engineers to develop future engineering leaders.
* Offer technical guidance on EICA matters to the wider project team and Senior Management.
Qualifications
* Degree/HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Ideally have already achieved or be close to achieving Chartered Engineer status.
* Detailed EICA specialist knowledge of British and European design standards, including Wimes.
* Proven track record as a Senior Electrical Engineer in design office and construction environments within the water or related process industry.
* A passion to succeed and develop your own and your team’s career.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
