Contract Outline:
EC&I Engineer
Sector: Oil & Gas / ATEX
Location: Norwich or Nottingham (Hybrid)
Contract Length: 6 months
IR35: Outside
Rate: £45-50ph
Role Overview:
Understand hazardous areas and BS/IEC standards e.g. ATEX, IECEx (Brazilian compliance).
Understanding of no-electrical Ex equipment and standards, such as ISO (phone number removed)/7.
Understand and design PLC's (Hardware and architecture)
Design and layout of E&I equipment against package installation and generation of E&I documentation.
Design of MCC switchgear panels, PLC panels and associated relay logic.
Rockwell PLC/HMI software and hardware knowledge advantageous.
Make sure you are meeting client design standards.
HPU and/or chemical injection system experience preferred
