EC&I Project Engineer - The Role:
* Lead and deliver electrical engineering projectsfrom concept through to completion
* Oversee design, installation, and maintenance of LV/HV distribution, control, and lighting systems
* Produce technical drawings and specifications using tools such as AutoCAD
* Ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety & Environmental regulations
* Support hazardous area (ATEX) documentation and explosive environment compliance
* Manage contractors and ensure safe, high-quality project delivery
* Develop and improve engineering standards, procedures, and policies
* Support capital project planning and investment proposals
* Contribute to energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives across site
EC&I Project Engineer - The Person:
* Proven experience in electrical project engineering within an industrial or high-hazard environment
* Strong knowledge of electrical distribution and control systems
* Familiarity with BS 7671 and safe systems of work (RAMS, PTW, etc.)
* Experience producing electrical designs and drawings (AutoCAD or similar)
* Understanding of ATEX regulations (or willingness to develop expertise)
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Located in Ayrshire, this role would be commutable from Irvine, Kilmarnock, Prestwick, Ayr and Glasgow.
