Artemis Human Capital are recruiting for a Business Development Manager for a forward-thinking, innovative renewable energy business going through unrivalled growth. Operating across Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and Great Britain, the organisation delivers Solar PV, battery storage, and heat pump solutions, with a primary focus on commercial clients - from small office installations to large-scale, complex industrial solar projects. Role The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, negotiating, and closing new business opportunities across commercial Solar PV. Reporting into senior leadership, the role will involve close collaboration with project management, internal teams, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery from sale through to completion. Key Responsibilities Generate new leads and business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and proactive outreach Identify, negotiate, and close deals in line with monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Manage and grow accounts secured, focusing on long-term value and repeat business Produce accurate weekly and monthly reports covering sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts Sell across multiple product sets and market verticals as agreed Research and identify target customers within specific industries, tailoring engagement strategies accordingly Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to build brand awareness Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and competitive landscapes Continuously expand and nurture a pipeline of prospective customers The Person 23 years sales experience within a growth sector, ideally renewable energy or engineering/ manufacturing Strong business acumen and commercial awareness, including an understanding of financial performance and profitability Proven experience within SMB and/or enterprise markets in Northern Ireland Experience delivering structured, professional presentations to corporate audiences A customer-centric approach with a strong focus on relationship building The ability to operate flexibly within a dynamic, fast-changing environment Strong stakeholder management skills, working effectively with delivery, product, and pre-sales teams Package Full-time permanent role Salary: competitive (OTE £80,000) Car allowance and mileage Commission scheme Laptop and mobile phone Remote working options Benefits Company pension Employee discount Flexible working arrangements On-site parking Private medical insurance Wellness programmes Contact Nicky Strutt
