Vehicle Technician
1. Location: Oldham
2. Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (subject to experience) + Performance Bonus
3. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, plus every third Saturday, 8:30am – 12:30pm
4. Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
About the Role
This role is for a long-established family-run business with an excellent reputation for providing specialist care and attention to prestige vehicles. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Workshop Technician to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering long-term career development and the opportunity to work on a wide range of luxury and performance vehicles, including Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Porsche, Audi, Mercedes, Volvo, Volkswagen, and more.
Key Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician:
5. Conduct accurate and detailed inspections on prestige and complex vehicles.
6. Diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge.
7. Carry out precise mechanical and electrical repairs to manufacturer standards.
8. Ensure all work is completed efficiently, maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
9. Work collaboratively within a supportive workshop team.
10. Maintain excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding workmanship.
Requirements for a vehicle Technician:
11. Qualified to Level 2 or above in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.Experience working with prestige vehicle brands.
12. Excellent diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
13. Strong commitment to customer service and high-quality results.
14. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
15. Full, clean UK driving licence.
