We are looking for a Game Director with a passion for storytelling and worldbuilding to bring Peter Pan and Neverland to life through enchanting gameplay experiences.
Key responsibilities
* Own the creative vision and design pillars for Neverland: A Peter Pan Adventure
* Be accountable for scope, quality, schedule and milestone delivery
* Translate vision into clear goals, roadmaps and decision frameworks across disciplines
* Lead and grow the Design team, setting craft standards, mentoring and hiring
* Drive iteration through whiteboxing, playtests, telemetry and rapid prototyping
* Partner with Production on staffing, budgets and sensible trade-offs
* Define and uphold exit criteria for prototype, vertical slice, alpha, beta and submission
* Steward the Peter Pan and Neverland IP, managing licensor reviews and approvals with GOSH and platform partners, and ensuring age-appropriate content, accessibility and ratings alignment
What we're looking for
* 10+ years in game development with at least one shipped title as Game Director or Creative Director
* Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams through full development cycles on console or PC
* Strong foundations in systems, level and content design
* Experience working with external licensors and IP approvals
* Data-informed decision making using player research, playtests and telemetry
* Comfortable with UE5 and modern pipelines (Perforce, Jira, Notion, telemetry stacks)
* Track record building family-friendly co-op action-adventures with exploration, puzzles and light combat
* Excellent written and verbal communication and facilitation skills

* Tuesday to Thursday in our Warrington studio
* Monday and Friday from home
* Flexible working within core hours 10:00–16:00
