About the Role
Our Branch Supervisors are hands‑on, lead by example, and work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure day‑to‑day branch operations run smoothly while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Branch Manager in daily branch operations.
* Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers.
* Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and that branch sales targets are achieved.
* Support the delivery of sales targets while building and maintaining positive customer relationships.
* Assist in the delivery of branch operations.
* Support the Branch Manager to ensure the team completes actions and activities on time and in full.
* Ensure the branch team complies with Health & Safety, company policies and procedures.
* Undertake stocktakes and audits.
* Maintain maintenance records for branch vehicles.
* Conduct branch housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchanting.
* Support and assist branch colleagues as required.
* Use a hands‑on, customer‑focused approach, confidently engaging with potential customers.
* Adopt a commercial approach to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers leave happy.
* Demonstrate good organisational skills, prioritising and using initiative.
* Be a confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry software such as SAP.
* Hold a full and valid driving licence; a FLT licence is an advantage.
* Be prepared to cover for the Branch Manager when required.
* Previous branch stock‑take experience is an advantage.
* Comfortable working both in a small team and independently.
Hours & Compensation
* Hours: 44 per week – Permanent role, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on a Saturday rota.
* Basic salary: £31,614 per year.
* Realistic total earning potential (bonus/OTE): up to £36,414 per year.
