Lecturer in GCSE Maths
Join Walsall College as a Lecturer in GCSE Maths and support students in achieving their potential through inspiring and motivating teaching.
Responsibilities
* Deliver functional skills maths up to Level 2.
* Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment strategies.
* Provide academic and pastoral support to individual students as required.
* Participate in interviewing, enrolment and induction of students.
* Use initial assessment data and student starting points to tailor teaching plans.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A teaching qualification (DTLLS, Cert.Ed/PGCE, or equivalent) or a commitment to obtain one.
* Appropriate subject qualification in mathematics.
* Commitment to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
* Suitable for safer recruitment checks, previous employment checks, online searches and an enhanced DBS check.
