Are you passionate about adult learning, coaching, and helping others grow? We’re looking for a Training & Development Lead who thrives on delivering engaging, hands‑on learning experiences and has a strong background in training, teaching, or coaching.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in education or training delivery—whether in corporate learning, vocational teaching, or coaching—who’s excited to apply their skills in a technical, operational environment. You don’t need to be a wastewater expert; we’ll support you with the technical knowledge. What matters most is your ability to connect, communicate, and inspire.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Deliver practical and classroom‑based training sessions
* Coach individuals and assess their competency
* Design and improve learning materials with subject matter experts
* Use tools like Clever Nelly to support competency development
* Champion inclusive learning practices across all sessions
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in training, teaching, or coaching adults
* Strong communication and facilitation skills
* Ability to simplify complex topics for diverse learners
* Level 3 qualification (e.g. AET, Business Coaching) or willingness to gain one
* Passion for helping others succeed
Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week. Southern Water operates a hybrid approach to work between our Falmer office and home.
