Role: Operations Manager
The Operations Manager will play a critical role in delivering the organisational strategy and ensuring the charity operates efficiently, effectively, and sustainably. As a key member of the senior leadership team, they will lead organisational performance, governance, process improvement, and resource management—enhancing internal processes and cross-department coordination.
The post will involve line managing a team responsible for HR, Finance, IT, H&S, and Facilities operations (some outsourced). The role requires close collaboration with the CEO and Board to translate strategic priorities into operational actions. The Operations Manager will also lead business planning, performance monitoring, and change management across the organisation.
The successful candidate will have experience in a varied role, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities. Experience within a charity or environmental setting is advantageous. A strong track record in organisational development, business planning, and operational excellence is essential, including managing cross-functional teams in HR, finance, governance, facilities, and project delivery.
