Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Family Worker to join Sheffield Council on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate one-to-one and group family contact sessions in line with children’s care plans
*
Provide emotional and practical support to children and families during sessions and transport where required
*
Ensure the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of children and young people is always prioritised
*
Observe and record interactions accurately, providing reports to support care planning
*
Adapt approaches to meet the diverse needs of children, young people and their families
*
Use a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to support positive family relationships
*
Work closely with social workers, managers, and other professionals
*
Contribute to service performance targets and support service quality and inspection processes
Requirements:
* Previous experience of working with Children and Families
* Full UK Drivers Licence with access to own vehicle
* Availability for out of hours work
