As our Candidate Engagement Co‑ordinator, you’ll play a key part in supporting the Talent Acquisition team to deliver an exceptional and positive candidate experience. You’ll help ensure every step of the hiring journey reflects our brand, HEART values and best practice - making a real difference to how candidates feel about Southern Housing from the moment they apply.

What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering a first‑class service to candidates throughout the full recruitment process.
2. Maintaining strong candidate engagement with timely, friendly communication.
3. Supporting Talent Acquisition Partners to ensure a smooth and positive hiring experience.
4. Organising interviews, confirming outcomes, and coordinating onboarding activities.
5. Communicating effectively with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to ensure streamlined processes.
6. Checking in with candidates post‑offer to support their onboarding journey.
7. Managing the Talent Acquisition inbox - triaging emails and ensuring timely responses.
8. Supporting the Senior Talent Partner and wider TA team to deliver recruitment best practice.
9. Helping to plan and deliver attraction campaigns, job fairs and networking events.
10. Assisting with posting job adverts through the applicant tracking system, especially during busy periods.
11. Coordinating interview and selection timelines with managers when required.
12. Supporting the team with social media postings (e.g., LinkedIn and Facebook).
13. Assisting the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager with MI/KPI reporting and internal communications.
14. Processing agency and supplier invoices on Proactis within agreed timeframes.
15. Remaining flexible to take on additional tasks as required - no role profile covers every eventuality.
What you’ll need:
16. Experience managing multiple administrative activities in a busy environment.
17. Experience supporting the recruitment lifecycle and candidate management.
18. Strong Microsoft skills, including Advanced Excel for monthly KPI reporting.
19. Hands‑on experience with ATS or HR systems.
20. Excellent customer service and multi‑tasking abilities.
21. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
22. Great organisational skills with an ability to work at pace.
23. Confidence communicating clearly, both verbally and in writing.
24. Knowledge of HR policies and practices (advantageous but not essential).
25. Ability to stay calm and deliver well under pressure and to deadlines.
