Description
Responsible for directing daily workflow, reviewing completed work orders, and inspecting Mechanics work. Assists in instructing mechanics on work procedures. Inspecting and identifying defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems and preforms preventive maintenance and/or repairs.
Main accountabilities include
1. Hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical reports and preventative maintenance of equipment at fuel storage facilities/systems
2. Monitors storage tanks and related equipment to ensure that they are in good working order to prevent spills, releases, overfills and product contamination.
3. Performs routine and periodic inspections in compliance with company, customer, government and industry standards
4. Conducts all work in a safe fashion by adhering to all company, customer, industry, local, state and federal safe work policies/procedures
5. Makes required log entries QC, maintenance and completes required documentation and performs data entry
6. Maintain records relating to maintenance
7. Inspect and identify defective or broken parts on vehicles as well as make repairs to gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, fueling and mechanical systems
8. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual quality control checks on the refueling equipment
9. Drive and operate refueling equipment vehicles
10. Ensure our aircraft services team can operate effectively by providing proper preventative care for equipment and timely repairs to broken equipment
11. Maintain a safe and secure work environment, in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures
12. Determines the need and extent of repair work required based on operators reports and testing equipment
13. Preforms preventive maintenance and/or repairs
14. Performs maintenance calls on in service equipment
15. Repairs and/or replaces parts on equipment during PMI
16. Coordinates functions and schedule related to production, and PMI completion
17. Communicates with the operation concerning equipment operation
18. Maintains, orders and schedules tire replacement
19. Reviews completed work orders
20. Inspects and approves Mechanics work
21. Assists in instructing mechanics on work procedures and assists in the training of mechanics
22. Directs daily workflow
23. Able to perform all duties performed by GSE mechanics
24. Basic, advanced, and general troubleshooting
25. Use and interpret diagnostic equipment
26. Ensure that all vehicles can pass the appropriate safety inspections
27. Welding and fabrication
28. Cleans shop and work area
29. Comply with the station’s attendance/tardiness standards
30. Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
40. Must be at least 18 years of age
41. High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or twelve (12) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
42. Must possess and maintain a valid US driver’s license
43. Must pass all pre-employment testing including a physical, color vision test, audio test, and drug test
44. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English
45. Ability to perform basic math calculations
46. Must be computer literate
47. Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses which will require lifting and move up to 70lbs
48. Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions
49. Must pass background check and obtain US Customs seal
50. Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
51. Prior experience preferred including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry (preferred)

The individual must also be able to open and close large value on 16" product delivery pipelines quickly. Opening and closing these values involves twisting and pulling motion and sometimes considerable physical exertion.

Exposure to outdoor environments, various inclement weather conditions, aviation related fumes and various noise levels. Acutely aware of safety related procedures. Position requires wearing safety-related equipment, i.e. goggles, gloves, boots, respirator, hearing protection, and back support as necessitated by a specific task. Position requires lifting, pulling, pushing, rotating, twisting, climbing of high tanks, squatting, kneeling, overhead arm movement. Must be able to occasionally handle weights up to and including 70 lbs. Exposure to related cleaning and chemical materials (review MSDS Reference Book) during routine and special cleaning assignments. This category, as stated, is not exclusive.
