Tradewind Recruitment Liverpool are currently seeking a committed and versatile Humanities Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative Humanities department.
This role is suited to a qualified teacher with experience delivering the UK curriculum across subjects such as History, Geography and/or Religious Education at Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
* Teach Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4 (e.g. History, Geography, RE)
* Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the UK national curriculum
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations where applicable
* Monitor, assess and report on student progress
* Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school activities
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Has experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school
* Strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities specialism
* Demonstrates a passion for engaging students in Humanities subjects
* Effective classroom management and organisational skills
