Events & Communication Co-ordinator - Coleraine - Part time, Permanent Riada Resourcing is exclusively recruiting for an Events & Marketing Co-ordinator to support Coleraine Business Improvement District. If you’re passionate about delivering high-quality events, driving creative marketing, and working with local businesses to promote a thriving town centre, this is your chance to play a key role in Coleraine’s future. Coleraine Business Improvement District (BID) is a partnership of local businesses working together to enhance Coleraine as a vibrant place to work, visit, shop, and invest. Rooted in the town’s rich heritage and unique character, Coleraine BID is committed to delivering positive, lasting change for the local economy and wider community. About the role:
1. £16.82 per hour
2. 3 days a week (Days dependant on the needs of the business)
3. 24 hours a week
4. Part time, Permanent role
5. Please note closing date for this vacancy is Wednesday 15th October.
What you'll be doing in this role:
6. Take ownership of the events portfolio for the entire year, ensuring delivery to the highest standard.
7. Manage digital content, newsletters, and websites to keep communications engaging and up to date.
8. Lead on marketing collateral, branding, and BID communications to promote the town centre effectively.
9. Ensure all events meet legal, licensing, and safety compliance requirements.
10. Adopt a hands-on approach with flexibility to attend events outside standard working hours.
11. Develop partnerships with arts, cultural, and business organisations to enhance the local offer.
12. Work closely with levy payers to create the CQ magazine, promoting businesses and the town centre.
13. Explore and develop new marketing opportunities agreed with stakeholders.
14. Develop and monitor the viability of the town radio system as a communication tool.
What you'll need for this role:
15. Previous experience within a marketing, PR, or event management role.
16. Proficient with necessary IT software
17. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
18. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
19. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on commitments.
20. Experience liaising with internal teams, external partners, sponsors, and the public.
