Are you skilled in making beautiful bespoke furniture? Do you want the opportunity to step into a supervisory role? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team!
Company Description
HOLME TREE LTD is a furniture manufacturing company located in Ashby-De-La-Zouch, United Kingdom. We are committed to craftsmanship and quality and specialise in producing premium kitchen and furniture for the whole home tailored to meet the needs of our clients. We have a well-equipped factory adjacent to our showroom in Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire and we have an opportunity to join our small but highly skilled team in producing exceptional furniture.

Therefore, the ideal candidate must have a strong carpentry/ joinery background specifically in the manufacturing of 5 piece doors, dovetailed drawer boxes, frames etc. You must have a keen eye for detail and be proactive in working with the design and installation teams to find solutions to technical challenges. This is a senior role which is varied and is a key part of shaping how our workshop evolves as the business moves forward.

* Be competent in using a range of wood-working machinery correctly and safely. The ability to use CNC machines would be an advantage but not essential as long as you are willing to learn!
* Have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in a manufacturing environment.
* Have strong skills in quality control to ensure products meet the highest quality and craftsmanship standards
* Know that you have the aptitude to be a manager – you may have had some experience of managing but want to move into this level permanently as your next career move or you may be an experienced manager looking for a new opportunity – either way we would love to hear from you!
* Have the ability to supervise a team and work closely with other teams, delegate tasks, and enhance workforce productivity.
* Know how to efficiently organise and monitor production workflows.
* Have strong organisational and planning skills.
* Be able to motivate others and drive a positive and high-performance culture to get the best out of our friendly and skilled team.
* Understand health and safety regulations in manufacturing.
* Be willing to take ownership, think ahead and play a key part in shaping how the workshop operates on a day to day basis.
* Have a desire to make a positive contribution to overall business growth, maintain our reputation for quality and service and be a welcome addition to our friendly team!
