Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday starting between 4am-8am
Location: Grimsby - DN30 3DQ
DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Class 1 driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
* Perform multi-drop delivery of goods to customer sites
* Handle manual handling of heavy goods (kegs of beer), into customers' rooms of choice (e.g., down into cellars)
* This is a highly physically demanding role with significant manual handling
* Drive safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Adhere to health and safety standards, The Highway Code, road safety rules, and vehicle regulations
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
We'd love to hear from you if you have the following experience, but don't hesitate to apply if you don't meet every criterion— we're great at spotting talent and potential:
* Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification, and Digital Tachograph Card
* At least 12 months recent Class 1 driving experience
* Comfortable with a highly physical role
