Site Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Site Coordinator to join our team in Dunbar, as well as at other sites in Pencloe and Dumfries. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our sites, supporting both our project team and subcontractors. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining a positive and productive working environment, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day site operations.
We can pay outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive personnel welfare on site, ensuring an efficient working environment.
2. Liaise with local vendors such as cleaning companies, security, and waste management providers.
3. Ensure adequate supplies of office, site, and canteen provisions.
4. Assist with setting up and maintaining agreements for accommodations like apartments, rental houses, or hotels (if required).
5. Support uploads to SharePoint, including filling out documents in designated SharePoint areas.
6. Handle site-related purchases, such as scanning delivery notes to the Project Coordinator.
7. Keep records of project staff, including subcontractors, hours worked, holidays, and sickness.
8. Assist the Site Manager and HSE team with the Permit of Works process, including Set to Work Briefings and RAMS (Risk Assessment Method Statements) review.
9. Open permits at the start of each shift and close them at the end, while controlling the RAMS Tracker.
10. Coordinate, welcome, and introduce visitors to the site.
11. Support the warehouse in controlling waste and maintaining the COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) waste register.
12. Plan and organize events, such as team-building activities.
13. Perform relevant ad hoc tasks as required.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Minimum 2 years in an administrative role.
* Experience with SAP.
* Experience with turbine operations (preferred).
* Fluent in English.
* Proficiency in computer skills.
