About the role
This post plays a crucial role in supporting statutory and operational functions within children's social care and is part of a dedicated Business Support team. The role is based at both the Civic Centre in Richmond or Guildhall 2 in Kingston, with opportunities for hybrid working in line with service requirements.
You will work closely with social workers, managers, and multi-agency partners to ensure all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard-supporting frontline teams in delivering essential services to children, young people, and families.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. A strong background in administration, confidence using digital systems, and a commitment to supporting vulnerable children and families are essential.

About you
The ideal candidate would need to have the following attributes:
* Provide high-quality administrative support to safeguarding panels and meetings, including minute-taking for Panels and Strategy Meetings.
* Manage and update key systems and records, efficiently and with attention to detail
* Monitor and respond to enquiries in the team inboxes.
* Handle sensitive data and documentation, line with GDPR legislation
* Raise invoices, manage stationery orders, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of day-to-day service needs.
* A passion for Achieving for Children's vision, mission and values (trust, empower, respect) to support children and young people to live safe, happy, healthy and successful lives.
* Strong organisational abilities including: time management, creative-thinking, problem-solving and multitasking.
* Works well under pressure and is flexible with their approach to carrying out tasks.
* Able to make good use of technology to perform functions and ensure work is timely and accurate.
* Strong administrative skills such as minute taking, managing competing priorities, being organised and working well in a team.
