Description
* Ensuring the availability and reliability of production equipment.
* Performing regular maintenance checks and upgrades as required.
* Diagnosing and rectifying all production equipment faults.
* Supporting the Engineering and Manufacturing department in achieving departmental goals.
* Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and procedures.
* Providing technical expertise and training to junior staff members.
* Implementing continuous improvement strategies to increase efficiency.
* Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, providing regular updates on equipment status.
Profile
A successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
* A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role within the retail industry.
* Excellent technical knowledge of production equipment.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and rectifying equipment faults.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance to junior staff.
* A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards.
