A Day in the Life of a Psychologist:
Join a dedicated team supporting children and young people with complex needs. As the school’s Psychologist, you’ll play a key role in promoting emotional wellbeing, supporting learning, and contributing to a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting psychological assessments and developing intervention plans
* Supporting staff with formulation, reflective practice, and training
* Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team
* Contributing to EHCPs, reviews, and progress tracking
* Promoting a psychologically safe and inclusive school culture

Requirements & Qualifications:
* HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
* Experience working with children and young people in educational or clinical settings
* Strong skills in assessment, formulation, and intervention
* Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals
* Commitment to trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming practice
