Job Title: Veterinary Ophthalmologist Location: Eye Vet, Runcorn, Cheshire. Role Type: Fixed term contract. Scope for long term role in future. Hours: Full-time (part-time can be considered) Eye Vet is a dedicated ophthalmology referral practice with strong multi-disciplinary support from nearby Northwest Veterinary Specialists and the University of Liverpool’s Small Animal Teaching Hospital. In addition to our busy referral caseload from surrounding primary care practices, we are proud to contribute to clinical teaching and final-year placements for University of Liverpool veterinary students, and we also provide ophthalmology services to Chester Zoo. We are currently seeking a qualified Veterinary Ophthalmologist (postgraduate qualification essential) to join our experienced and collaborative team. You will work alongside five dedicated clinicians, a skilled team of ophthalmic RVNs, and benefit from on-site support provided by the ECVAA-led anaesthesia team. This is an initial fixed-term contract position, with the potential for a longer-term opportunity. Great location, just off the M56 and close to Liverpool, Manchester and North Wales. What we are looking for: RCVS registration and a passion for Ophthalmology.
