Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Internal Commercial Sales Manager based in Alton. The role involves managing customer relationships, developing sales strategies, and overseeing business planning to achieve revenue goals. Key responsibilities include identifying sales opportunities, maintaining excellent customer service standards, managing sales operations, and contributing to the strategic growth of the company. The Internal Commercial Sales Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.


Qualifications

* Strong skills in Customer Service and Communication to build lasting relationships and address client needs effectively.
* Team leadership and coaching. Recruiting, training, mentoring, and motivating sales professionals to meet or exceed goals.
* Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Management, including negotiating and closing deals, and driving revenue growth.
* Experience in Business Planning to develop and execute sales strategies that align with organizational objectives.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating self-motivation and proactive problem-solving skills.
* Knowledge of aerospace and defense industries is advantageous.
* Performance Analytics & Reporting, analyzing sales data, forecasting, and creating reports on team performance and market trends to inform decision making.
* Risk Management and Compliance, assessing potential risks associated with projects and contracts to safeguard company interests.
