Working as part of operations team embedded at a customer facility and reporting to the Operations / Production Manager, the Radiographer is responsible for set up and testing of various parts utilizing a multitude of radiographic techniques and equipment depending on the product type and manufacturing specifications and or customer specifications. The Radiographer shall be qualified to ISO 9712 (PCN or equivalent), able to operate without direct supervision in accordance with International, National standards and Element NDT procedures. The radiographer will also participate and contribute to a number of core business initiatives and policies including but not limited to compliance to established safety rules, code of conduct, and company policies and procedures. Working as part of an NDT inspection team across 8-hour rotating shift patterns to test welds Working as a team under the direction of the Operations Manager to ensure customer deadlines are met in a timely fashion including shared overtime where required Working to implement and develop specific NDT techniques under the guidance of Company appointed Level 3 and Technical Managers Working in accordance with Element or customer testing procedures and written instructions, interpretation of national and international standards Assisting and conducting routine quality checks of testing equipment in accordance with approved procedures Working under guidance of Company appointed Level 3 and Technical Management to ensure continued professional development, certificate renewal / recertification and further qualification through structured training in multiple NDT methods Attending daily SQDC meetings and contributing to overall Element fundamentals improvement via suggestion and implementation of initiatives Participating in 5S initiatives and following good housekeeping practices Adhering to Element safety and quality management systems and being and active participant in a strong safety and quality culture Where applicable. handling, processing, loading of radiographic film and operating radiographic darkrooms and processors including basic cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks and chemical replenishment. Qualified to Level 2 in at least Radiographic Testing of welds and preferably with experience or qualification in computed radiography Qualified to level 2 other methods methods such as Penetrant Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing or Visual Inspection is preferable Experience in testing of Welds At least 2-3 years relevant NDT experience Experience working within an engineering and / or Laboratory environment Good general standard of education particularly in English and math's Excellent attention to detail Strong written and verbal skills Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Willingness to work overtime where demand requires additional capacity Element is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
