Job Advert: School-Based Carer for Year 2 Girl – N12 (North Finchley) Full-Time | Term Time Only | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Responsibilities
* Supporting a Year 2 girl with physical disabilities throughout the school day
* Providing respectful and sensitive personal care
* Assisting with mobility and access across the school site
* Using a hoist and applying correct manual handling techniques
* Enabling participation in classroom and recreational activities
* Liaising with staff, parents, and therapists to support consistent care
Essential Requirements
* Up-to-date training in hoist use and manual handling
* Proven experience in providing personal care
* A kind, calm, and proactive approach
* Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to complete one)
