Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our busy food led pub. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in food service, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Duties
* Lead and manage all aspects of service, customer relations, and team.
* Supervise and motivate team members, promoting a positive work environment centered on teamwork and development.
* Coordinate with kitchen staff on offerings, menu planning, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
* Manage stock levels, ordering and control costs to optimise profitability.
* adhere to training programmes for staff on food safety, service standards, and hospitality best practices.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all departments.
* Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
* Develop marketing strategies to promote the establishment's offerings and attract new customers.
Requirements
* Proven experience in supervising teams within the hospitality sector, particularly in food led businesses
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
* Experience in food safety management and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Background pub/restaurant operations is essential; barista experience is a plus.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
* Demonstrated capability in team management, serving guests professionally, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Starting salary £35k increasing after probation, clear set bonuses to increase your earnings as the business grows. Family run, established business.
