Are you a hands-on engineer with a passion for building and commissioning advanced machinery? We’re looking for a skilled Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our growing team and support the deployment of semi-bespoke automated systems for customers across the UK and around the world.
The role of Installation and Commissioning will include:
* Installing and commissioning semi-bespoke automated machinery at customer sites, both in the UK and internationally
* Troubleshooting, testing, and fine-tuning systems to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborating with customers during installation to ensure smooth handover and training
* Working from our UK facility when not on-site, supporting the mechanical and electrical build of systems
* Providing technical feedback to design and engineering teams for continuous improvement
The suitable candidate will need to possess the following skills and experience:
* Experienced installation and commissioning engineer.
* Comfortable with both UK-wide and overseas travel (approx. 50%)
* Practical mechanical and electrical fault finding
* Strong problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities
* Good communication and customer-facing skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to work in a dynamic environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Valid UK passport and full driving licence
* Experience working with Siemens PLCs
* Familiarity with automated production equipment or special-purpose machinery.
