This 311-bedroom hotel with two theatres, a spa, and three restaurants is set within 440 acres of parkland in the heart of the Cotswolds. Overview As Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at Heythrop Park, you will support the leadership and daily operations of one of our signature dining venues. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining brand standards, and fostering a high-performing team culture. In the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager, you will deputise and assume full responsibility for the department, ensuring continuity of service and leadership. Key Responsibilities Support the day-to-day operation of the dining venue, ensuring seamless service aligned with brand standards Deputise for the Food & Beverage Manager during periods of absence, maintaining operational leadership and decision-making Lead and motivate the team, promoting a culture of professionalism, warmth, and excellence Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to deliver memorable dining experiences Engage with guests, resolving issues with empathy and urgency Assist with labour management, stock control, and cost monitoring Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members Uphold brand values and service ethos across all guest interactions Skills & Experience Required Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a high-end restaurant, bar, or hospitality venue (ideally within a luxury hotel or resort) Strong leadership and team engagement skills Commercial awareness with experience in budgeting and cost control Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Proven ability to deliver outstanding guest satisfaction Commitment to continuous improvement and brand standards Candidate Profile We're seeking a confident, proactive hospitality professional with leadership experience and a passion for luxury service.
