This is a fantastic opportunity to join my client, a trusted, eco-conscious Multidisciplinary Consultancy known for lending their expertise to diverse projects across the Engineering and Environmental landscapes. They are actively seeking a driven, experienced Hydraulic Modeller who is willing to take on projects across a variety of sectors, based near the historical, cultural town of Taunton.

Responsibilities for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
7. Delivering a variety of projects at all stages of the design process
8. Producing hydraulic models and surveys
9. Using a variety of software systems to prepare models, reports, and other technical documents
10. Liaising with clients and other stakeholders across the public and private sectors
11. Attending site visits and other meetings as a company representative
12. Adhering to industry standards, regulations, and the appropriate health and safety requirements at all times
Required skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
13. A Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, or a similar, relevant discipline
14. Experience of working in a design capacity, within a UK consultancy (or Local Authority) setting
15. Demonstrable experience of wastewater modelling
16. Proficient in the use of InfoWorks ICM (1D and 2D), and other relevant software packages
Desirable skills and experience for the role of Hydraulic Modeller include:
17. Hold a full, valid UK driving licence
18. Actively working to attain Chartered Status
19. Good knowledge of the local area and surrounding region
20. Knowledge of a range of other software systems used within the flood risk, drainage, and hydrology sectors
