The successful candidate will fulfil the duties of an academic, dividing their time across teaching, research and service. In this role, the incumbent will:
* Participate in teaching, scholarship, research / innovation in accordance with the School and Faculty objectives.
* Develop and deliver a research and innovation plan aligned with the School’s strategic priorities, with a demonstrable trajectory towards producing REF‑returnable outputs, generating impact, and securing external research funding.
* Collaborate with colleagues and act as a team member to contribute to the delivery and design of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes responding to students’ needs as a member of a teaching team.
* Actively seek to enhance the student experience, student employability and enterprise opportunities.
* Support the school in its marketing, outreach and widening participation activities.
Candidates should hold, be eligible for, or demonstrate a clear commitment to working towards registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist to support delivery and supervision on our postgraduate courses.
The interviews are currently anticipated to be held on 10 December 2025.
