Up to £45,000 basic salary £5,000 Welcome Bonus Annual performance bonus (up to £9,450) 32 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays) Fully funded DBS checks and renewals Access to employee wellbeing and reward schemes Ongoing training & leadership development Supportive senior leadership and clinical networks Clear progression path within a large and growing organisation About the Home: Located on Hayling Island Registered for up to 4 children Currently well-staffed and ready for the right manager to take the lead Focused on providing a safe, consistent, and nurturing environment Part of a wider organisation with a strong emphasis on quality and development Committed to creating positive outcomes for children and supporting staff progression About the Role: Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations and regulatory compliance of the home Provide clear leadership, guidance, and development to your team Ensure a high standard of care aligned with individual support plans and organisational policies Lead on safeguarding and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the home Oversee staff recruitment, rotas, supervision, training, and appraisals Maintain excellent relationships with families, professionals, and agencies Drive quality assurance, audits, budgeting and service development Be part of the on-call rota as required Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior role within a children's residential home Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) - Essential Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards) Excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation and children's home regulations Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills Proven ability to lead inspections and drive quality improvements Full UK driving licence Flexibility to work on-call and adapt to the needs of the home Interested?
