We are working in close partnership with a warm, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Erith, currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive environment that truly values staff and pupil development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Take responsibility for a KS2 class (year group to be confirmed based on experience and school needs)
2. Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
3. Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, using data to inform future planning and support
4. Foster strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents to support children’s holistic development
5. Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued
6. Contribute to the wider school community and participate in school initiatives, events, and extra-curricular activities
Candidate Requirements:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, or strong KS1 experience with the confidence to transition
9. A genuine passion for education and the ability to inspire young learners
10. High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to ensuring every child reaches their full potential
11. Excellent classroom management and communication skills
12. A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to a dynamic teaching team
