Ever worked on a site where everything is fine right up until the exact moment it is absolutely not fine? This is that kind of place.
Fast-paced FMCG manufacturing. High output. Constant changeovers. Machinery that does not care about your plans, your break, or your optimism. If it goes down, it goes down loudly and usually at the worst possible moment.

Long service recognition and career development opportunitiesThis is a hands-on maintenance role focused on tooling systems across multiple production lines. Less theory. More fixing things under pressure while production waits for you to be a hero.
What you will be doing
You will be the person who keeps production from turning into a very expensive standstill.
Carry out planned inspections and preventative maintenance on tooling systems
Jump on breakdowns and get lines back up before downtime becomes a problem with numbers attached to it
Support fast changeovers and line adjustments to keep production moving
Diagnose faults on mechanical and electrical systems without needing a full committee meeting first
Calibrate and fine-tune equipment so it actually does what it is supposed to do
Work closely with production to remove repeat issues and reduce downtime
Keep maintenance records up to date, because someone will ask eventually
Work safely, even when everything around you is trying its best not to be
Stay ahead of equipment issues instead of waiting for them to announce themselves loudly
What you need to bring
If you can already fix things properly, you will be fine. If you like guessing, you will suffer.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Solid experience in FMCG or fast-moving production environments
Strong fault-finding skills on industrial machinery and tooling systems
Confident working under pressure when lines are down and everyone is watching
Ability to make decisions without overthinking them into paralysis
Practical, proactive mindset focused on uptime and reliability
Good communication with engineers and production teams
Someone who actually enjoys solving problems rather than just logging them
Shift pattern
5 on, 4 off rotating
3 weeks days (06:00-18:00)
1 week nights (18:00-06:00)
The reality
This is proper engineering. Not monitoring screens and hoping for the best. You will be fixing, adjusting, improving and occasionally firefighting when production decides today is the day everything changes at once
