Were working with our client to find an experienced and dependable Contracts Manager to join their industrial roofing team. This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same. Youll take the lead on managing multiple industrial roofing projects from start to finishensuring theyre delivered safely on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities include overseeing site teams and subcontractors, coordinating materials and schedules, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards. You'll play a central role in keeping operations running smoothly across multiple sites. Duties will include:
Manage multiple industrial roofing projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain clear communication and expectations
Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors across various sites
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and enforce health & safety compliance
Ensure all work adheres to relevant building regulations, industry standards, and company procedures
Prepare and review project documentation including RAMS, schedules, and progress reports
Support estimating and tendering processes with technical input as required
Lead and motivate on-site teams to deliver high-quality workmanship and maintain strong working relationships
Monitor project costs and variations, ensuring profitability and accurate reporting.
Key skills and attributes required:
Strong knowledge of industrial roofing systems (e.g., metal sheeting, cladding, and flat roofing)
Solid understanding of general construction principles and processesessential for coordinating with other trades on site
Proven ability to manage multiple contracts and deliver projects on time and within budget
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience supervising teams and liaising with clients and subcontractors
Thorough knowledge of health & safety regulations and site compliance requirements (e.g., CDM, RAMS, HSE standards)
