Core Education is recruiting for an experienced and motivated SENCO to join a specialist SEN provision based in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people with special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
Role Overview
* Position: SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator)
* Location: Cheshire
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm (term time only)
* Timetable: Some teaching & full SENCO duties
* Type: Temporary to Permanent (for the right candidate)
* Daily Rate: £200 - £300 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
* Start date: ASAP
The Ideal Candidate for the SENCO role will
* Hold a recognised SENCO qualification (preferred)
* Have proven experience as a SENCO, ideally in a specialist or alternative provision
* Be confident working with Primary aged children in Key stage 2
* Have strong knowledge of SEMH and strategies to support learners effectively
* Be experienced in managing EHCPs, coordinating support plans, and liaising with multi-agency teams
* Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills, with a passion for inclusive education
