We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools and nurseries in the South Liverpool area. We have a range of exciting opportunities to suit your availability - whether you're looking for full-time, part-time, day-to-day supply, or long-term positions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in the EYFS setting.
* Support children's learning and development in all areas, including communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional skills.
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where children feel confident and valued.
* Work with small groups or individually to support targeted learning and development needs.
* Observe children's progress and report any concerns to the class teacher or SENCo.
* Support the children's physical, emotional, and social development, helping them build essential life skills.
* Assist with the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.
What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate will have:
* A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 Early Years Educator qualification or equivalent.
* Previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting.
* A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
* Passion for working with young children and supporting their early learning journeys.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
