We are seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join our warm and inclusive school in Reading from January 2026. This permanent position is open to full-time and part-time applicants, with a potential TLR for the right candidate.

The Role
Position: Year 1 Teacher
Location: Reading, Berkshire
Start Date: January 2026
Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
TLR: Available for subject or phase leadership (for the right candidate)
As our Year 1 Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that bridge EYFS and KS1 learning
* Support pupils’ early literacy and numeracy progress
* Create an inclusive classroom that nurtures confidence and curiosity
* Collaborate with colleagues and families to ensure strong outcomes
* (If applicable) Lead a subject or phase
What We’re Looking For
* QTS and KS1 experience (Year 1 preferred)
* Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and early phonics
* Enthusiasm, creativity, and a reflective approach
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills
